General Description |

| The UWB signal generator developed for low cost UWB solution. The unit produces base band RF pulses with adjustable duration (nominally 5nS) at input. Change of duration enables to adjust wide of RF band. You can do outgoing signal with ultra wide, wide or narrow spectral density. A system level block diagram of the generator is show in Figure1. The shape generator is used as an impulse control of carrier wave circuit that it work according to external PRF pulse on the INPUT. The carrier wave oscillator produces RF burst which amplifies and moves on an output. For example, consider the ultra wideband waveform of Figure 3 which consists of a few cycles of a 5 GHz carrier wave. The -3 dB bandwidth of this waveform was designed and measured to be more that 500 MHz bandwidth. Primary electrical specification represent in the Table1 below. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
